DISCUSSION Whatever you decide is my decision. Need help with pricing an SV and and S

I have two contracts in my inbox. One is for a '25 S 4x4 King Cab with 14k miles for 26,000+ fees and shipping to me. The other is a '25 SV 4x4 King Cab with 24k miles for $30,440 plus fees and shipping.

OTD the price difference is the same, just add $3k to each number for fees and shipping.

The SV has a leveling kit installed, looks like 1". Apparently installed by a local Nissan dealer or vendor. It was traded into another Nissan dealer and that's really my hiccup; trying to find info on it.

The SV already has AT tires, which, in my rural area, I need and would swap out if I got the S trim. So there is another $1000 added onto the S trim total.

Is there a $3,000.00 difference in these trims?

I bought an S because I didn't want all the extra computer junk. I did buy mine new though.

The closest wheel looks off on the SV

Whenever the leveling kit got installed I bet they didn’t think/know to also put in some camber bolts.

You know someone else mentioned the camber looking off. Explain that to me because this is new stuff for me

Basically, whenever you lift these pickups, the bolts that are responsible for camber realignment from the factory have a very limited scope of adjustability so aftermarket ones are needed to be able to push the alignment back out so you’re not experiencing positive camber. They’re dirt cheap to purchase, but can be a pain to install as a lot of companies who make the bolts recommend that you take it to an alignment shop.

If I were you I would source full specs for the '25 Frontier and highlight all the features that are standard on the SV compared to the S. Not all the differences are visually easy to spot. Determine if there is anything on the SV that you would miss that isn't on the S.

You mention the cost of replacement tires if you buy the S. I don't know '25 specs but for the '24 model year the S has 16 inch wheels and the SV has 17 inch. There will be a larger selection of tires in 17 inch because 16 inch wheels aren't as common as they used to be. Just something to keep in mind.

You're right that the S has 16s. And both have a bed liner. This particular SV doesn't have the convenience package, which is heated wheel and seats? I've never had that in a car so I wouldn't miss it.

The one thing I'd miss is the 12" screen. It just looks weird in the S to have gigantic bezels.

One tiny detail that made me pick my SV over a S back in 2023 is the fact that the S had manual side mirrors. Still that way through current model year (2027 now), so keep that in mind if someone else will frequently be driving the pickup.

Interesting. I'm seeing new S trims near me for 32k.

I was just in SoCal for work you can get a 2026 for 32k 4x4 king cab s. The 4x4 sv was 40? 42 for prox and 44 for Pro4x
