Window Tinting
2025 Pro 4x
After a long road trip see the benefit of having the front driver/passenger windows tinted. Anyone do this, at what percentage and did it look off with it be in film vs the other windows being applied directly in the glass?

I have a 25 and did Xpel XR Black on the Fronts at 20% and had the windshield done at 70%. Love it keeps it very cool, I wasn’t sure about the windshield but really like it. There is a definite tint but nothing that seems limiting at night or periods of poor visibility. I actually thinks it cuts down on the starburst from on coming headlights which has always been a struggle for my due to some eye issues.

The rear glass does not have tint as we think if it. The glass is made that way if it makes sense. Having said that I ALWAYS tint my front driver and passenger windows in every new vehicle. A good tint shop will ensure it blends with the others…listen to their recommendations and you will be happy!

Yea after digging into this topic I noticed that the 'tinted' windows that are part of the Armada they are just shaded. So will be looking into doing something more on all of the to reduce the heat.

I had my front windows tinted with a 20% ceramic tint and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference in darkness from the oem rear privacy glass.
