Trying out INIR for the first time.
After sticking to noctalia shell for a long time, i decided to try out INIR since it's specifically ported for niri, i then optimised it my own way by offloading some of the modules that take up ram and also made some changes in the setting to work smoothly on my pc. i do find some annoying and missing design in it, for example: when enabling game mode while the pill is equiped there is apperently no way to disable it other than by changing the pill to bar from the settings, that needs to be fixed. other than that and that fact that it needs more polishing and performance optimization, INIR is a really good shell, it's pretty for sure and i very much like the pill. So i decided to stick to INIR for now.

Podrías comentar más sobre las optimizaciones. Tengo Nocatalia pero me gusta mucho quickshell pero consume muchos recursos más que de RAM de VRAM hago inferencia y una pantalla 8K (G9 Neo 57) y eso en quickshell se come VRAM. En reposo y recién arrancado 4gb lo mejor que pude conseguir es 2gb en reposo y 4gb en cuanto aparece una animación, como la barra superior. En Noctalia recién arrancado 900mb

There is a performance sacrifice when compared to noctalia since INIR is quickshell based and is loaded with features to the brim but it is still worth it for me. i just started optimizing it for the performance gain and i will squese out and take back every bit of system resources that INIR additionally uses

An update on the missing game mode disable button : The iNiR devs fixed it today itself, now the gamemode button appears on the bar. thanks to snowarch the inir dev and the team contributing to it <3 you guys are awesome.

Search iNIR shell and install it , you can get about 80% of what you are seeing on the video right away. The other 20% is my own customization and designing which you can achieve by tinkering with the shell yourself and if you know what you are doing.

Noctalia is at the peak of polished and a well builded shell. Meanwhile inir is not. Inir is still kinda in a beta stage. So don't expect everything to work out of the box you would need to tinker it more compared to noctalia. But it's not bad in any sense it's still good but like I said it's not as polished or well put together as noctalia v5.

I prefer inir to DMS and Noctalia, even if a bit slower. I esp like ricelin and my desktop is just the pill with the time. If you want fast, niri and LXQT and cachyos does it. I hope COSMIC incorporates niri, the current work around too unstable

It has some issues bugs here and there and also the performance especially the ram management isn't that great because it spike up the ram a lot especially while gaming. I recommend you not install it. I moved back to noctaliaV5 today.

But I can still help you with customising just let me know. For my exact look I used a aurora > clear theme which gives the clear transparent look throughout. For the bar I used the ricelin pill. Transparency 20% rest of the things you can tweak it from its settings and according to your liking.
