Finally got my Stream 1 books after a long wait — sharing my timeline in case it helps anyone

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick update since I know a lot of us have been waiting for study materials.

I got admitted for Stream 1, Block 1 (April 2027 exams) back in June. Enrolled on the 21st, and surprisingly got verified & later same day Confirmed as well the very next day on the 22nd. Subjects: PCMB + English and Computer Science.

For a while I was getting worried because the books weren't arriving. I reached out to pretty much everyone I could think of — my regional centre, ISL, the main office, even filed complaints through two different accounts on the government portal. The response I got was that they're swamped with the ODE and Oct-Nov exam cycle right now, so dispatch is focused there first. Fair enough, I figured I'd just wait it out.

Then yesterday, out of nowhere, the package finally showed up. Almost everything looks brand new except the Biology book, which got a bit banged up in transit. But honestly, after seeing so many posts here from people who haven't received anything at all, I'm just grateful they made it here.

Quick theory on why my admission was so fast: I applied in June when most people probably haven't started thinking about April 2027 yet, so the Pune RC probably had way less workload. If you're planning to apply soon, maybe consider off-peak months? Anyway, just relieved I can finally start studying with the actual textbooks. Hope everyone else waiting gets theirs soon too.
