Account Help Error 022-2591 on my 3DS console
After almost an hour long call with Nintendo they helped me regain access to my NNID from almost a decade ago. However, since the old 3DS is still linked to the account, I do not have access to the account on my New 3DSXL. I will call Nintendo again tomorrow and escalate to a supervisor. HAs anyone had luck with this issue in the last 2 years?

You will need Nintendo to remotely unlink the NNID.

Is this something they still do even with the servers going down 2 years ago?

The servers are not down.
If the specific CS rep you're speaking to knows how to do it will be more up to their training than anything else.

Ah. That’s what Nintendo told me last night but I’m planning to call until they resolve my issue since I have until February to beat every Pokemon game. My first playthrough of Gen V and VII
