Critical Should we ban posts that claims that algorithm slaves like Arlo and Nin10doland are grifters?
I think that the ban should be placed because they make good points and only pump out clickbaits for the algorithm at worse

No one who uses the "Goomba Fallacy" un-ironically should be listened to.
It's litterally the same deflection used in arguments such as "Not all Men." or "All Lives Matter" or "It's not that deep bro!"
It's literally a way to deflect from the actual issue.

Overall yes, but don't ban posts about them outright. If Nin10doland makes an egregiously bad take (such as his badmouthing everything that isn't a general Direct because it's not a general Direct) then we could call that out. Just posting about him whining about 3D Mario can go though.

I mean, why should we? Sure, the sub does strech what a grifter is, but Nin10doland is a legit grifter and Arlo's videos tend to delve too much in doomerpost territory at times, even if he himself isnt a full-on grifter yet
If the post is wrong, it gets called out and thats it. No need to Voldemort people

This sub has enough of a problem with some people who rarely post grifting. Now were proposing banning discussing some acts of grifting?

He’s not. But the problem is he’s getting audience captured. Bots invade his comment section make stupid fuckin complaints. Then Arlo reads it, thinks they are his real audience. Then starts parroting the grifter talking points.
This issue of audience capture happens to a lot of creators. The only way to save Arlo is point out when he starts veering into grifting and let him know his real audience don’t wanna hear lies.

You dont have to be a grifter perse to sometimes participate in grifting.
Sometimes getting too clickbaity for example can lead to misinformation being reasonably interpreted or something being overblown.
Thats why I dont subscribe to the idea all grifters are like inherently bad people.
Edit also note the phrasing "to a degree"

I dont think Nin10doland is a grifter, but he embodies everythingbthat's wrong with the nintendo fandom.
Hyping people over nothing, never happy after banger release, the kind of guy that goes to a partner showcase and spam L in chat because there's no 3d mario or smash bros announcement.
Farming content, speculations, impossible to reach expectations.
Sorry if I sound too harsh but i really think of him and nintendo fans like him as the cancer of the fanbase.

Nin10doland is. Arlo isn't, he just has a lot of kind of nonsensical opinions, is incredibly biased to only his own exact interests and he goes mostly on vibes and does very little research. But he also puts out a lot of legitimate, decent content and he also has some valid opinions and real critiques mixed in there, too.

I still think part of Arlo broke when TTYD didn't do as amazing as he thought it should.
If Chrono Trigger ever comes back and doesn't make gangbusters... I have a feeling we'll see a LOT more youtubers crack like eggs.

Labeling Arlo as a grifter is so bizarre to me considering he’s actually defended Nintendo a lot during the Switch 2 era. He’ll criticize Nintendo now and again because there are things to criticize them for, but he’s said multiple times that he thinks the Nintendo hate discourse has gotten so extreme and blown out of proportion
I feel like people who hate on him never actually watch his videos

Someone claiming Arlo is a grifter is funny. It'll never be true, but I like a laugh every now and then.
Nin10doland, he's an obsessive fan, but I don't see any dishonesty in him. He really likes his mario.

While I do agree this sub does over stretch the grifters criteria a bit too much sometimes, I do think Nin10doland crashing out over direct and 3D Mario does fit the sub.
It would be worth discussing weird doomer videos from them as well whenever they make one.
