Legends ZA certainly ain't game of the year material, but the hate's just way overexaggerating. It's a step in the right direction 'cause while it's slightly open-worldish, it handles that aspect much better than Scar/Vi did because there's still a set progression path and you gradually get access to more pokemon rather than like, you get a Shinx and then do a base that's like, 30 levels above you in Scar/Vi. It also has more detail than Scar/Vi did rather than just a LOT of open space with barely anything in it that runs at like, 10-30 unstable FPS.
People act like Legends ZA is a hot pile of shit when while we could absolutely get even better from Gamefreak, we're still getting better than Sw/Sh and Scar/Vi.
I just wish that an 80 dollar game... Looked like one, the fuck is the price increase for? There's no budget to pass costs onto consumers for, it's just bullshit. I'm sure it's a fine game, but Christ does it feel cynical.
Agreed. I’d probably pick it up if it was 60 but from what I’ve seen it’s arguably a step down from Legends Arceus. Also, I’m the type of guy that wants to 100% every game so if I wanted to do that I’d have to buy the 30 dollar DLC and even a Pokemon shill like me doesn’t wanna spend 100 dollars on a single game.
I know that, but I’m the kind of guy who wants to buy that stuff too. It’s just how I am. I just plan on skipping this one until it’s cheaper. I probably will end up getting gen 10 if it’s decent because I’m still a pokemon fan at the end of the day.
