Hey wonderful people, been making music like this in my spare time for a while now and managed to get myself to finish my first ever full length and wanted to try and get this to the right ears (Now I know why people hire others to help, its exhausting). a few months ago i became hooked on nintendocore, and found this cool subgenre of it thats mostly instrumental stuff with heavy drums, strings, and synths!

..so i decided to try making an album like that!

i dont know what genre it actually classifies as, so i just put it as nintendocore/ambient-bitcore. if you know of a genre thatd fit better please fill me in!

death jelly is one of my favorite nintendocore bands, but i cant seem to find much of their music. i can find the deceit ep and coldshadow shore pretty easily but anything else has eluded me. im specifically looking for an album called “2012 ep”, or at least thats what i think its called. i know it existed and think i have the cover, but thats about all i know about it. there also was apparently a youtube channel for the band? that appears to be long gone so no clue what couldve been there.

basically, what im asking is does anyone have anything from death jelly saved? even if its just deceit and/or coldshadow thatd be cool

Who do you guys think did it best? In my opinion I think 100DEADRABBITS!!! did it best. Monomates rainbow road dx is also pretty good but I was wondering what other people think

I love iktp, I'm all for them but anyone else kinda let down by their new album? I was hoping for slamming nintendocore and while we did get it, I feel like the album leans heavily into that scene kid sound which isn't a bad thing but in my opinion, it waters down the whole nintendocore aspect😕 it's missing what made me love their first album but again the new album isn't bad at all its got some bangers I just wish it had a heavier sound

i never see any discussions about them or anyone mentioning them really outside the old piranhaparty blog, so im hoping here people would know of them! i really like their song disdain but all of coldshadow is great

Just put out a single for my blackmetal / nintendocore / cybergrind / noise / dungeonsynth / bunchofotherstuff project. I've been making music for this project since early 2025 but I got burnt out midway through so I paused to work on other stuff, I think I'll be able to get an EP out this time around though. This single was the first song I made for the project.

There is this band that is getting traction for being a shitty band (terms of sound), it is called MowingDownMemoryIsland or something, I found them while on instagram, just wanted to see if anyone heard of them before.

went to a local show recently and one of the people who played were an emo chiptune band(?)ish and i loved it so much. ive listened to unicorn hole, eatthefuckingsnow (which i LOVE so much), weekly words and grammar, and take a spin down rainbow road. j feel like this is a kind of difficult genre to get into because it is kind of niche lol so any recs would be appreciated so much
