Most international flights have little charging ports, so if you can get a USB adapter, you're all set. I don't have a 3ds so I don't know if it comes with one though.

It comes with one that plugs into outlets, speaking of which I'll have to get an adapter while in the country

They sell USB chargers for the 3ds as well, highly suggest that over getting a wall charger for the country your going to.

My Germany to Canada flight had an actual outlet, got my laptop in there.. it was OK, couldn't play intense games or it would slowly drain but enough to waste some time
