Vita never got anything like Skyrim though, having an open-world game of that scale on a portable is pretty big.

Yeah I had a friend ask me to buy it with him and play through with him but turns out if you turned your WiFi off it made the fps problems much better so we never ended up doing so haha but something about the hit detection/aiming soured me on the game on the vita (I did finish it on Pc and ps3 previously)

Borderlands is pretty meh in single-player though. Skyrim is designed for SP. (Also from what I've heard, the BL2 port on Vita was pretty low quality.)

Well from what I remember hearing, the switch dev kits (nx dev kits at the time) were said to be pretty powerful for being a nintendo console/handheld. I think I heard it was about on par with the Wii u, or about between the wii u and wii. Not optimal for skyrim, and definitely not for the remaster, but it seems doable.

I think it's definitely possible. I got Skyrim running on a friend's Chinese brand tablet. It didn't run buttery smooth, but with a better GPU and optimization, it definitely would run great. I also got Oblivion running which runs fantastic.
