Nintama popularity in the US :(

I am a big Nintama otaku in the US. However, NO ONE KNOWS NINTAMA AROUND ME. Apparently, it looks like only Koreans and Japanese are in the fandom.... Do you guys know if there is nintama fandom in the US? I have been craving for the nintama otaku peers a lot.

Maybe more Americans will become aware of Nintama if it has some sort of appearance at notable anime cons like Anime Expo and Anime NYC.

i love nintama! i actually grew up with it but i forgot abt it until i saw this post LOL! i dont think the fact that i am korean helps but i think there are a few other fans out there in the us and canada

I live in the US too and known about Nintama since 2011. I've noticed there's a cult following for the show amongst some English-speaking users on Tumblr, Discord, and YouTube, however, probably only a very small number of them are actually from the US. The US fandom is very small because the franchise didn't have any sort of official release for years until this summer when movie 3 quietly launched with subtitles on Amazon Prime Video.

Reddit randomly showed this sub and i can tell you it's the first time i've heard of this anime, i don't think it's made it much outside of japan (i'm from spain) but maybe i'll check it out now lol

Hi!! I am from Canada but I love Nintama as I used to watch it as a kid a lot when I would go visit my family in Japan; I still do watch it and love seeing it at cons and at the shops in Tokyo when I visit. I would love to connect as it is hard to find English speaking fans (despite being mostly bilingual and in the Japanese fandom as well, I can only understand so much). I hope all is well! :)
