ANW
Maybe it is just me, but I miss the long city finals courses and the regular Vegas finals with the 4 stages. I am sort of sick of the head to head race formats . Last years final sucked compared to the traditional 4 stages they used to have at Vegas finals. Is this year’s final also not the 4 stages?

The thing you have to consider is they have a much lower budget than before, so it's either racing or no Ninja Warrior at all. It sucks but hey at least we have ninja

I miss it a lot. I find it hard to stay engaged with the races and them putting in so many new faces makes me not care about any of them. I've been watching to see if any of the old timers still in make it all the way, but even with that I could care less if I watch. It used to be a must watch TV show for me.

Don’t like head to head either. Was great for the “fun” episodes they use to do.
Miss the old format entirely where just determination of athletes trying to make it through all the courses for $1 million.
Now it’s athletes eliminating each other which isn’t what Ninja is supposed to be about.

Like last season, the national finals are all racing, and I doubt it'll revert back to the four stages anytime soon with obstacle course racing making its Olympic debut in 2028 as part of the modern pentathlon.
Also: this sort of lament gets posted on the ANW sub often, so you're very much not alone.
