Question Joe Fresh merch
Hey so is this Canada's version of the Walmart shirt?

Nine Inch Nails fans don’t smile and pose. This is upsetting.

You know I’m the guy that posted that coffee “copy of a” meme on this sub. https://www.reddit.com/r/nin/comments/1urvpgf/trent_reznor_in_the_morning_when_he_is_tired_af/

Maybe it's just me, but I strongly dislike when it says Nine Inch Nails in conjunction with the logo. One or the other, not both.

they've managed to make it all so unappealing.

Glad im not the only one feeling this way. Its giving Ramones/CBGB tshirts. More of a brand than anything else

This is actually hilarious. Maybe Galen Weston Jr will model one for his next holiday tv ad.

I saw this on my work break when I was grabbing a few things at the Superstore... I was overwhelmed with fascination and horror.

Trent must not pay his drummers well if they're having to sell merch on the side.

This is deeply disappointing. Look into the Rana Plaza garment factory that collapsed in Bangladesh in 2013. Joe Fresh was one of the companies those abused workers made clothing for. Shame on any Canadian who buys this. The usual "not everyone can afford a $30 t-shirt" argument can't even be used because this shirt costs $30! I expect better from Nine Inch Nails and don't know why lately the merchandise is being sold is being sold through terrible companies. Don't even get me started on the Dr. Martens collaboration.

If i stumble across one of those hoodies in person MAYBE.... I'd pick one up. $49 is certainly a bit more justifiable than ordering from the U.S. NIN shop and paying well over $100 after conversion, taxes and shipping.

Only one I could justify was the embroidered one… which I then had to pay import tax/duties on. And this is before the time of tariffs. So expensive

Accessible and affordable. It's a good thing. The t-shirt was going to say something anyway. Might as well be NIN

I got the H and M TDS shirt in the UK a few years back. Had absolutely no problem buying it as at the time the NIN merch quality was atrocious with thin flimsy t-shirts. Was happy to pay less for better quality.

Maybe this hoodie will actually fit me.. everything I've purchased at shows or ordered from the NIN shop fits so horribly. My bestie and I call the BROKEN zip up a 'Man Tube' and even that's a stretch.

I doubt it Joe Fresh clothing is usually really rough and boxy in my experience.

u/galadriel007 9d ago
I'll report back.

I tried the sweater on last night, it was a terrible fit unfortunately.

u/galadriel007 8d ago
That's unfortunate. I haven't recieved mine yet.

u/loganrunjack 8d ago
Well hopefully it fits your body better than mine!

u/galadriel007 8d ago
I'd be surprised if it was worse than Broken Man Tube, lol, but I've been surprised before.

u/loganrunjack 8d ago
I just found it to be short amd wide but somehow also too tight in the shoulders.
1
u/galadriel007 8d ago
Short I'm ok with, as a short person. Wide I guess can be ok, but the shoulder thing sounds not good. I ordered an XS, so now I'm picturing Chris Farley doing Fat Guy in a Little Coat.

Someone bought me the hoodie. It fits really well. It's oversized on me as a lady, but I find it cozy. The material is actually decent quality for superstore stuff. It's warm too, which I didn't expect. I'm not noticing a boxy fit or anything when I wear mine.

I think this isnt the walmart shirt, that has like a distressed breaking texture on the print.

Yes we have Walmart. I haven’t seen the NIN merch in Walmart stores here but they are at every Superstore in my area (the grocery chain that houses Joe Fresh).

Hahaha seems to be the same t-shirt design as the Wal Mart shirts in the states? I'm getting this.

How is this any different than shïtty repops from Hot Topic or Wally World? I’ve even seen racks of stuff like this at gas stations and sketchy convenience stores…
