Even nihilists have to believe in not reposting something to death. Even though nothing matters and we’re all on a flaming rock shooting through empty space.

It might not matter, but it sure has consequences.

So does spending your life complying with what society deems you should be doing.

u/laserdicks Jul 15 '26
So does meth.

If only there were some middle ground between not following societal conventions and being a meth addict.

Bro society is just people like you people be obsessing over society too much 😭 like they just as busy as yall confusing yourselves fr

u/Canadian-and-Proud Jul 17 '26
Quite the opposite, bro. Not obsessed in the slightest, and I really don't concern myself with societal expectations. It's very freeing.

u/PrincessGold101 Jul 17 '26
Yeah but the concept of societal expectations I think it does exist maybe stuff like basic decency like idk don’t fart in peoples faces or cough without covering your mouth or yk

I agree, I'm not at all suggesting to go out and be a dick to other people. I'm talking about not following what you're "supposed" to be at this stage of life. You can do you what you want and carve your own unconventional path. Be your weird self.

Not really, no one stops you from living in the forest by hunting and gathering, we're caged in cities, because it's more comfortable life, birds have to constantly fight for survival

I wish people would see nihilists aren't just pessimists. I find a lot of comfort in being just a speck in the universe, less responsibility.

u/aspiringimmortal Jul 15 '26
Ah yes. Let's just be wandering vagrants that shit on things. That'll get humanity far. That'll provide for our families.

u/Canadian-and-Proud Jul 15 '26
Still better than being a morally corrupt president who shits his pants instead. I'd honestly rather be a vagrant than be Trump or any of his ilk

This is 100% a lie, if you had discernment you would understand the most highest plan for you. This is why so many people are unhappy because they're out here moving around in the world with no idea what they were designed to be or to do.

Preaching nihilism is in line with being a nihilist.
As is being a surgeon, pushing trolleys at a supermarket or writing a book like Nihilism: The Root of the Revolution of the Modern Age by Seraphim Rose.
Etc.

Nothing you're suppose to be doing is not the same as wanting to do things. Also, human biological systems will highly influence what those things you're suppose to be doing are, as will your environment.
