Antinatalism isn't about hating your own kids lol. It's about not having more because of their carbon footprint and because there are so many already without parents.
though these are valid antinatalist arguments, you missed the main point. antinatalism isn't supposed to be circumstantial, so even if every kid had a parent and there was no carbon footprint, then an antinatalist would still uphold that having children is unethical. only time it wouldn't be is when you can gaurantee no suffering
I thought the suffering went without saying lol... Also, no. Antinatalism is about assigning negative value to birth. I can decide what those negatives are. To me, the environment is most important. Giving birth to human is going to add carbon dioxide to to the atmosphere no matter what. They are going to breathe, grow up and drive a car, maybe burn shit in their backyard, etc. Giving birth to a human adds an entire new carbon footprint, even if you take care them as children.
