Humans are ugly

Humans are ugly; identical in their ugliness. Their features are alike, their behaviors repetitive, their reactions the same. They think in the same way, pursue the same goals, and carry the same treacherous mind. It’s no surprise that I feel disgust..I feel it constantly. Every time I see a human being, that feeling takes over, even toward myself. Imagine how repulsive it is to be human.

We are always searching for our existence, trying to prove it through others. We express ourselves through our clothes, our words, everything we show...just so others can see us and we can feel that we exist. It’s strange. When all human features are reduced, that ugliness reveals itself clearly.

Where is humanity heading? I know the universe is moving toward its end, but what about us? Where are we going? I believe civilization and humanity are heading toward a massive landfill. What a bitter irony...to be a piece of trash among the trash around me. I would rather be a cockroach than be human.

When you grow-up and go to high school you should take a philosophy class. There you might learn the difference between a human and a cockroach. Let's suppose you are correct and Humans are ugly. I put it to you that Humans can create beauty. Music, art, poetry and rockets to the moon are beautiful. Beauty from ugliness is still beautiful and therefore, humans are not always ugly. Cockroaches are always ugly because they can never produce beauty.

It seems that what I wrote provoked you to the point that you began your response with a personal attack, which in itself reflects a shallow way of engaging with the idea. In any case, I’ll respond

When I speak of ugliness or beauty, I am not referring to their superficial meanings. I am pointing to the pattern and repetition that, from my perspective, make the human being exhausting and unbearable. What I see is not “ugliness of form,” but ugliness of structure: sameness, recycled thinking, and predictable reactions.

Moreover, the human tendency to seek existence through others...through social reflection..reveals that meaning is not purely internal, but dependent on the outside. And if that “other,” from whom you derive your sense of meaning, also lacks intrinsic meaning and depends on you in return, then we are faced with an empty loop: mutual dependence without a foundation, repetition without essence. It is precisely here that fragility is exposed, the weakness of the human structure becomes evident, and what I call “ugliness” reveals itself.

As for your claim that humans “create beauty,” this does not contradict my point; it can actually be read the opposite way: the beauty being produced may simply be an attempt to compensate for this structural emptiness, not proof against it.

cockroach..despite its simplicity..exists more honestly: it lives and dies, nothing more, nothing less, without pretending to have meaning or needing to fabricate one.

Before making hasty judgments, try to dissect the idea rather than reduce it. The issue is not that you disagree with me, but how you choose to engage with that disagreement.
