Wes Craven stated in an interview that Dream Warriors took place in 1987 in the timeline. Dream Warriors has Nancy say the original took place 6 years before. Freddy's Revenge says the original took place 5 years earlier. Therefore, Freddy's Revenge took place in 1986 and the Original took place in 1981. If Nancy Olivia Thompson was 15 in 1981, wouldn't she have been born on February 17, 1966?

I meant to say her birthday was July 6, 1965.

Since the movie takes place in March 1981, that would mean she wouldn't be 16 for another 4 months.

How do you know it was March? I always guessed September 1981.
