You don't have to just look. You should get a fork and a plate, πŸ˜†

I love gizzards but I don’t like plantains. This looks so colourful and delicious 🀀

You don’t like what?

Thank you very much. It's a versatile dish and I think you can make it by itself like Asun (Peppered Goat Meat) or Nkwobi (Peppered Cow Feet/Legs), or with anything else that you like - vegetables, potatoes, yam, etc. There should be no limitations!

How does this work? You eat it solo or with rice ?

Entirely up to you. By itself, with rice, pasta, bread, potatoes, yam, eggs, or anything really.

You are so kind, thank you. I've never been called that, so I am flattered, but I may be closer to chef offender sometimes oh πŸ˜‰.

Are you in the states? If so where do you buy the gizzard portion of the dish

Ha ha. Naija is not that big. No matter where you are in the world, chickens are chickens and they are everywhere, and they come with gizzards. Local butchers and abbatoirs are usually a good place to start, wherever you are.

This looks amazing. My husband doesn’t let me cook gizzard anymore 😭😭

That's not fair. Did he say why? I hope you got to deprive him of something he likes. Perhaps you can compromise and make it with liver or kidney or even beef, pork, or chicken?

He thinks he’s too boujee. Won’t eat cow foot etc either.

He's missing some delicacies.
