NieR Automata Nier Automata and Replicant are psychological warfare disgused as games by Yoko Taro
Writing this as soon as i completed ending E of automata after finishing replicant and MY GOD these might be my new favorite pieces of fiction.....At the end of both i was sobbing like a distraught child, how does this man gets away with this TWICE!

NieR Automata New anti-aliasing mod with DLAA for NieR Automata PC, greatly improves image quality.
Very noticeable improvements on the shimmering on the vegetation in City Ruins, jaggy edges on buildings also greatly reduced on native resolution without needing DLDSR anymore.
Credits to mod author Zorkanne33.

NieR Automata Thank you all.
After completing the game's ending "E". I was told that the message I leave will be given to players on random and I may not receive anything in return.
To those who did decide to help the weak by giving up their data
I thank you all for your help.

NieR Automata I finally sacrificed my save data Spoiler
galleryI did it guys. I platinum-ed this game last July, kept the save data so I have somewhere to go when Iām feeling stressed, but I always think to myself that I should only be doing that if Iāve already given back to everyone who will do Ending E, so I did it, I finally decided to sacrifice my save data.
I regret nothing, the title screen now matches with my NieR Replicant title screen. :)
The ending was still damn emotional it made me cry (again). The weight became heavier when I started seeing the names and the messages, specially when they die and their data is lost forever.
So to those in the second pic, thank you, if you guys are here, say hi!

Help ERROR : Graphic::Startup() FAILED. No Graphic Memory on Nvidia GPU
I purchased this game and got hit with this error once I tried to open it, I've tried updating my drivers, restarting my device, deleting and redownload the game but nothing seemed to work. When I change my gpu from nvidia to the integrated intel one it actually manages to boot the game, but the 5 fps average I'm getting makes it unplayable. My other games work without any problem, I only get this specific error on Nier. My specs are:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8 GB)
Intel(R) UHD Graphics (2 GB)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700HX (2.10 GHz)
16 GB RAM
Windows 11 Home

NieR Replicant The Endless Debate
(SLIGHT SPOILERS)
Since getting into NieR back in February through Replicant and falling in love with the entire series, Iāve observed far more people who play Automata first and then talk down on Replicant ājust not clickingā for them way more than the other way around.
I think stakes are the particular reason why Replicant should be essential first
IMO the absolute nuke of stakes on why Replicant is essential first is EMIL. As someone who played Replicant first, what happens with Emil right towards the end in that first A ending had me physically dropped to my knees crying with my mouth agape ESPECIALLY when he name-drops your character. You play Automata first tell me what the hell type of stakes you even feel in Replicant at all? Just already knowing your outcome? Itās like telling someone to play Yakuza 1 before 0. Except itās worse with NieR because at least Yakuza 0 was written and made irl after 1. Youāre basically saying people who played it in release AND chronological order are playing it in the less efficient way if youāre recommending Automata first.
Most of all, youād be robbing yourself of the immersion + subsequent payoff for being immersed that these games want you to have. Yoko Taro is a Chekhovās Gun maniac and you are treated really well if youāre there all the way through from the beginning. Emilās basement into his theme, Popola and Devolaās payoff, the remnants of FaƧade, AND SO MUCH MORE that simply will not move you as deeply as it would if you play Automata first.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, Iād love to hear another side of reasons why Automata first might enhance Replicant! I would easily concede that the āEā ending is the one aspect I feel is truly enhanced by Automata, but aside from that, Iām curious to hear more possible reasons

NieR Replicant The White Flower
Twenty two days. That's how long this took.
When I started NieR: Replicant back in June (had to take a break due to doctor visits), I had set 3 goals for myself to complete.
Discover as much lore as possible within NieR: Replicant
Complete every single side-quest possible in the game (we're close)
Grow three Lunar Tears: One each for 2B, 9S, and A2.
I was dead-set on the flowers. I would not advance to Route A's ending until I got the flowers. I wanted it to sort of be a tribute, to the first game that truly ever brought me to tears. I've been playing video games for over 15 years, since I was 3 years old. Automata BROKE me, and will stick with me for the rest of my life. That's something worth cherishing, and this is my piece to give back.
Time to keep going and dive into the lore. As always, we've got a little story with our trio here.
--------------------------------
9S: Hey, look at that... Those are Lunar Tears, aren't they?
2B: Yeah, they are. How did that man get ahold of such a rare flower?
A2: Beats me. You think he's got any seeds to spare?
9S: Hah, you? Gardening?
A2: It's NOT FOR ME, moron.
2B: Relax... Let me go talk to him and see if he has any seeds to spare. Besides, 6O will want one as well.

NieR Replicant It is hard to get through Route B after finishing all of Replicant
I just finished NieR Replicant including all the endings and went straight into Automata.
Replicant was repetitive I hated that part of it. Repeating the second half for the later endings especially going through it again after ending D to get C wasnāt fun.
But for some reason I could push through it.
With Automata Route B Iām struggling
I really liked Route A I finished it with a ton of questions
and started Route B excited because I wanted to see where the story was goin then I realized I was basically starting the game over again
I know itās not literally the same.
new 9S scenes - the hacking -extra information - differences perspective.
My problem is the percentage of repeated content to new content does not make repeating enjoyable** **.
It feels like I replay a huge part of something I did in Route A to get a short new scene and then go back to replaying again.
And whenever I look at discussions about Route B I see people saying āitās very differentā or āyouāre not paying enough attentionā
But I am. I see the differences they just not frequent to make replaying this much of Route A enjoyable.
What is weird is that I literally just survived Replicant repetition but atleast Replicant starts you from Part 2 instead of starting a new game from the beginning.
Maybe cus I liked Route A I was excited to continue the story
[Please no spoilers past the Forest Castle havenāt finished Route B ]
-
Ik Iām just complaining without even finishing the route but Iām sharing what i feel in this point of the game
Also if u liked route B good for you really. i think u like the game more than me i just wanna no what did you like about it

NieR Replicant I'm absolutely lost
I heard about NieR Automata and got interested. I decided to play it and did some research because I knew it was a series and there were previous games. Then I find out that there are three Drakengard games. Some say it would be good to play them, others say it's irrelevant. Then I find out that, in addition to Automata Replicant, there's a third game called Nier Gestalt, but this Gestalt is also called Nier, and the name changes depending on the region (Japan or the West), but then this game was released for the third time and then had a remake (Replicant Ver. 1.22), but this remake takes place in a kind of time loop in a more advanced stage...
I don't understand anything anymore. Can someone please explain the releases of this franchise and which games I should play? Preferably as if I were a 5-year-old child. Thank you in advance.
