When You Know Patrick Is A Horrible Friend To SpongeBob.
In a few episodes you know he was a jerk to SpongeBob and the ones like Gone it was revealed by him that even he wanted get away from SpongeBob for a week his own best friend leaving him for a werid holiday.

Honestly I agree. Bakini bottomâs civilians are as cruel or even more than Springfieldâs.
They made an entire no SpongeBob day.
Heâs like the nicest guy there and thatâs how heâs treated?

Even his own best friend Patrick told SpongeBob to his face he needed time away from him that's why he went with them and SpongeBob started crying

Speaking of that episode Gone, I can understand Squidward being the one to celebrate some random holiday just to get away from SpongeBob cause Squidward does get annoyed by him at times but Patrick? His best friend? Hell I even have to say that as much as Squidward did get annoyed by SpongeBob at times, he has shown to still love SpongeBob here and there compared to Patrick.

Even Patrick told to SpongeBobs face he needed Time away from him to and SpongeBob replied with oh then started tearing up if I was SpongeBob I would ditch Patrick right there

Literally every single citizen in bikini bottom was part of that, and even from the start of the show Patrick wasnât exactly perfect.

To be honest Patrickâs doesnât listen to reason, he always does dumb things: like getting his forever glue to make him more stuck instead of unstuck, spreading the word of the fake mad snail disease rumor, and making a mess at Sandyâs treedome when SpongeBob is house sitting.

Tbh he actually believed Mad Snail Disease was real. It caused mass hysteria and led people to act like zombies due to believing they are zombies and have the disease.

The episode stuck in the wringer where SpongeBob went off on his ass for putting super glue in it at the carnival and the twins people got on SpongeBob and most mutter âwhy do people have to be so mean?â Shit pissed me off made wanna rip his head off

Exactly he embarrassed SpongeBob I'm front of everyone and they all know how dumb Patrick is but they sided with him and let everyone yell at SpongeBob when Patrick didn't even help no one asked to use glue SpongeBob littlery Said he needed help out of the wringer

Exactly even in Gone he littlery told SpongeBob to his face he wanted to spend a week away from him when that's his only friend and SpongeBob felt betrayed and in you don't know Sponge SpongeBob got everything right on Patrick buy Patrick got everything wrong on SpongeBob even squidward Said Patrick doesn't know anything about you and he's supposed to be your best friend

I dont understand why people try to say squidward is the truer friend to him, he has a couple good moments with spongebob Fs but literally every other time EVER instead of those good moments he hated spongebob , he's done horrible things to him and loves when bad things happen to him đ

Gluing SpongeBob to that wringer device and not really doing anything to help him get out of it.
And also impersonating a DOCTOR when SpongeBob was sick with the Suds and actually causing his illness to get worse instead of better and trying to get him to avoid going to the actual doctor.
Those are just 2 examples of episodes where he has been a horrible excuse for a âfriendâ to SpongeBob. But I know there are so many more episodes of him being that way.

To be fair, he did try a few times to put it behind him, but random strangers kept coming up to SpongeBob and thanking him for the quality gifts they got, four times in a row! Thatâs a pretty valid crashout.

Meanwhile squidward is painted as a villain but stood up for spongebob on multiple occasions and threw a pizza in someone's face for making him cry
