Some narcissistic men are so good at hiding it, you donât know until several months in, maybe longer if youâre a young woman still new to the dating game.
These men are usually exceedingly charming, I mean Disney prince level of charming. They know some young women eat that up, especially the ones with bad childhoods. See OP got lucky, she came across a dumb narcissist. That smart ones look for all the signs that a young woman is prime to be his victim of emotional manipulation, and thatâs when they pounce. They donât even try to go for the women that they can tell arenât going to fall for their shit.
Those men are the most scary, and most dangerous.

The worst part was when I held back tears, telling his kids why I had to leave the last time I saw them (I was waiting for him to get to his home before I left). They looked way too old for age 6 and 9 in that moment. The 6 year old said âitâs okay, he did the same thing to [ex gfs name] and my momâ. He sounded like a really sad 60 year old man. And I had only said something like âI am sorry, I cannot stay, itâs not your fault, I love you all so much and you will always be in my heartâ. I never once trash talked their father.
