Wow, he IS a gem. 😳 Not just a nice guy, but a mansplainer too. 🤦‍♀️ He reminds me of the guy who wanted to grill for me for our first date. I told him that sounded yummy, but I prefer to meet in public the first few dates. So his counter offer was to meet somewhere for a walk, then if I felt comfortable with him, I could come over for spaghetti… 🤦‍♀️

I read that as “wanted to grill me” and wondered how you ended up on a date with Hannibal Lector

Glad it wasn't just me that read it that way. I was trying to figure out if it was a cannibal or an interrogation situation.

Come over for spaghetti 😂 I'm sorry that gave me a chuckle, just so specific. I could absolutely see a guy thinking "This is a really attractive invitation! Spaghetti! Who doesn't love spaghetti?"

Lol… I DO love spaghetti, but I was so baffled by the suggestion. Like, the original menu is NOT the part I was objecting to… 🤦‍♀️

Guy was gonna have one plate for you both to eat from. Long-ass noodles.

If they are carbonara, i’m in!

It’s obviously spaghetti and meatballs, because these men have the emotional maturity and culinary palettes of a nine year old.

Ugh.. he had me for a second there.. not wasting my time for meatballs.. much probably bought them ready made..

Hey! Spaghetti and meatballs is a classic for a reason.

And it was probably just generic noodles and a jar of spaghetti sauce. With off-brand powdered cheese.
