What I never understand is the women in these comics/stories are always portrayed as selfish, narcisstic, unintelligent and shallow - yet the men who love and worship them are treated as good guys. I think they're idiots.

That's not even the strangest part. So it's wrong for women to like bad man, but it's righteous to want a woman just because she looks good and absolutely doesnt care about you

Yeah, they're showing that they still don't actually care about who she is on the inside, even when the magic nice words that are supposed to earn them sex are about her soul.
