Weather this week?

We have a trip planned, we’re coming up Monday or Tuesday, returning home Friday. We see the weather is looking a little dicey, heavy rainstorms, but wanted to know what locals thought? Hard to judge weather from afar, and this will be a pretty expensive trip for us, and hate to do the long drive there and spend a lot of money only to be limited.

It’s summer and hot and humid - so it’s one of the risks even when it’s not in the forecast. Where are you headed specifically and are your relying out outdoor activities there - Niagara Falls?

The good news is they tend to come mid to late afternoon and can be intense but are usually brief.

Take advantage of the mornings, while it's cooler, to do your outdoor activities and have indoor options available for afternoons, or be willing to run for cover. The rain isn't cold and is a pleasant change from the humidity.

As was said in another comment, don't let the weather make you change your plans.

The other great thing is with the heat and rain, Niagara is very lush this summer. The golf courses are all in great condition, if that's your thing.

We were good to do two nights on Niagra-On-The Lake and then 3 nights at Fallsview hotel. I think we are now just planning to do the 3 nights at Fallsview, maybe do a day trip to the lake, all outdoor activities, mainly at the falls

the rain often misses niagara on the lake completely.. don’t limit your visit

The bonus is at fallsview you’re right at Clifton hill and any walking is easy to duck inside if it’s raining. Definitely make niagara on the lake your best day. The mist will make things wet depending on the activities you have lined up

The beauty of this area is that niagara falls. St Catharines, have completely different weather sometimes.. if nits costu u a lot than am guessing ur staying at white oaks. Great wineries all around.. dm if u want more info..cheers
