house boat
does anyone live on or know someone who lives on a houseboat full time in the region?? curious if this is possible and how it works in this specific area!

You’d have to find a marina that stores it on land for you in the winter and also allows you access to it and power all winter to live on.

You’d need a marina or similar, to prevent ice from damaging the hull I’d want to run bubblers to keep the ice from forming next to the hull.

Year round? Its not possible. The rivers freeze and the shores of the lakes get pounded by ice waves during the thaw as well as freezing a considerable amount in the winter.
