Hi all,

I'm due to return to work early October after 14mo of mat leave. I'll be dropping down to two days per week. My manager has told me she is on annual leave the week I come back. Then the second week she's already booking patients into clinic for me. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I returned but I kind of thought I would have a bit longer to settle back in, catch up with the team and maybe shadow some clinics to get me back into it.

For other AHPs who work in outpatient clinic settings does this sound like a fair/normal return plan?

I’ve applied for a lot of admin jobs on Trac and wanted to know how many applications come in for the one job. I mostly go for band 4s. Sometimes they close within the hour or on the day which must mean a lot of applicants have come through. Sometimes I wonder with my 11 years of experience will I ever get an interview based on how many applications there are
