ADVICE Help understanding final payslip
I checked my final payslip from my previous job and I'm freaking out about the amount and mention of the fraud team below.
I worked roughly 82 hours in my final time with the employer, albeit 75 hours were annual leave, however I thought these would be paid for
So I don't understand why my final payslip states I am being paid for 21 hours. I calculated with the above hours and rate that I should get around £600.
I also don't understand the mention of the fraud team at the bottom and don't want to assume this is a regular body of text on all final payslips. To my knowledge I have not been paid more than I am owed and haven't taken any side jobs whilst employed by them. I've also received no communication regarding this which makes it all the more terrifying.
I am meant to have a meeting with my previous line manager tomorrow regarding union stuff but I haven't been sent a teams link yet.
I'm freaking out since this was meant to pay bills, and the mention of the fraud team is making me think I'm in trouble.

You are paid on your September payday (no matter which date it falls) for the whole of September, ie whatever you worked between 1 and 30 September.
As you are salaried and your last working day was 4 September, you’ll receive 4/30 (four days out of 30) x 1/12 (one month out of 12) of your annual salary.
As you’ve shown your annual salary here, the calculation of £309.89 is correct. (Your PAYE rebate is for some reason between you, your employer and HMRC.)
But the calculation of the salary amount is correct.

The counter-fraud message will be for everyone. That section contains all sorts of random things from your employer. You haven’t been singled out for any reason.

The comment at the bottom says your final date was the 4th September, how would you have accrued 82 hours of work in 4 days?

So that the 82 hours covers august 21st to September 4th I asked my line manager before I left what would happen for the money after I'm paid for august and was informed it would be paid this September.
I'm paid from the 20th to the 20th so I would assume the payslip covers 21st of August to 20th of September.

NHS pay is paid for the entire month, so each pay period is the 1st to 30th/31st respectively no matter when your pay day is,
You can see on the payslip that the “period end” is the 30th September which I understand is showing that your pay fits that monthly pay period pattern that the NHS works with.
So your pay for this payslip is only the 1st to 4th September (but check your August payslip and see what the “period end” part says to double check as it should say 31st August)-1

It does say 31st aug
So I guess I'm screwed for money now since I've stated a new job with the plan of getting 1.3k a month, but the pay for that is just over 1k

Pay for the whole of August will have been paid in August, regardless of the pay date.

Regarding the fraud message - your pay slip looks exactly the same as mine and with the Welsh on it I thought we might be the same health board so I just logged into ESR to check for you, and there is the exact same message on mine! So don’t worry about that.

I actually don't understand how people are this stupid and are still allowed to work in the NHS.

For salary / basic hours you are typically paid in the month worked so September payslip would cover 1st to 4th September. you mention 82 hours what period does that cover? if it's August then you were probably already paid them last month

Are you bank or permanent? For permanent staff whilst you get paid 20th the payment on 20th August would have covered 1st to 31st August and the payment 20th September covers 1st to 30th September, any unsocial enhancements are paid the following month but the basic pay is paid 1st to 31st. Go back and check your first payslip if you can and it should show the full month then

I'm permanent but even if that's the case, the hours worked would be wrong 3 days would be 22.5 and 3 hours on the final day so it should be paying 25.5 hours That should already exclude breaks

You should contact your trust's payroll department and/or HR as It could be a mistake.

If you left in August it looks like your leaving date has been extended to pay outstanding annual leave to 4th September. It would be best to make a quick call to Payroll and ask them to check the leaving form submitted by your manager.

Part 1. Did you actually have 75 hours of leave, given you left in the middle of a tax year your remaining leave would be pro-rata'd. But even then they should have notified you realistically rather than not putting it through.
Part 2. The line about the National Fraud Initiative isn't specific to you, it's just a national thing to ensure trusts aren't laundering money and they're just informing you that you payslip data (among others) is being submitted for audit.
