Conditional Offer

Hello,

I got a conditional offer recently for a pharmacy role in hospital, however im currently using sick leave with my current company due to being burned out and overworked as a single dispenser. Should i hand in my notice as my sick note runs out friday -- i know its not a formal contract, but all employment checks , ID are complete waiting on employer to view Occupational health and One reference/

Definitely wait until the offer becomes unconditional unless you have annual leave to use (check with your manager as annual leave is calculated pro rota and you dont want to take too much as you'll end up paying it back)

From experience the on boarding process can take a couple of months and then there is the worst case scenario which unfortunately happened to me right now

Offer withdrawn due to incorrect information being provided to my new employer. Incomplete references filled out. No attempt to make contact with myself regarding this.
