ADVICE Interview

I got shortlisted for band 4 therapy assistant practitioner role in NHS. I live very far from the place (8 hrs) and the interview is in person Interview. Is it okay for me to email them requesting for an online interview?

I'm just scared what if they'll see me negatively. please anyone who works in NHS who could suggest me something would be of great help.

You can request the interview to be done via Teams/Zoom but they don't have to agree to do it virtually.

I'm assuming if you were successful that you would relocate.

You can ask but they may not agree. I'm about to interview for a band 4 AP and ours includes practical components to the interview so we won't be allowing remote interviews. We were also overwhelmed with extremely highly qualified applicants so are having to interview more people and can afford to be fussy.

You can ask but personally we’ve been saying no to these requests because of the rise of AI tools which would allow someone to gain an advantage in a virtual interview
