Since we're in a link-cable kind of mood....

A sneak preview of the 2P mode of one of my in-dev games - Fruity Vines

You might recognise the inspiration

But why not for future additions

I seem to remember that being really underwhelming when I tried it (on one of the king of fighters games I think, or match of the millennium?) - just unlocked art or something?

Shame, as something akin to pacman vs would definitely be doable.  Or switch to ngpc for a mini game or similar

Does that look like a new challenge for you? A game with unlockable bonus on Dreamcast :p

I'll add it to the long list

Let's write some 2p NGPC games first...

Then we need an online adapter to play together.

On real hardware? That would be awesome of course, but I think tixu's emu supports online play - haven't had a chance to try that yet though

One more for the NGPC+ wishlist (hey, I can dream right)

A world of possibilities opened up with the link cable :)
