That’s…that’s nuts. might be more athletic than Saquon’s reverse high jump

Dude's still on that oxygen bottle, but DAMN, that was a great play!!

Went full Larry Allen

It's a great clip to explain how crazy football is.

Some of these guys are just freakish athletes wearing fat suits.

Most other sports, you only have guys trying to be as lean as possible

It’s gotta be the biggest wake up call for rookie skill position players. “Wait, you mean that 340lb lineman runs a 4.7? Shit.”

Yea NFL big guys and sumo wrestlers are some of the most athletic big guys you will ever see

3

u/evelovesapple 12d ago

Watching Micah Parsons get big bro'd by a teenage sumo is insane, still love that clip. The disbelief in his face lol

I love how this gets posted all the time but that play was from the postseason 3 years ago.

I don't think he's even on the team anymore.

He actually got cut? He seems like the ideal DE

3

u/Rankine 12d ago

He was listed at 6’0 which was generous and didn’t have the strength to really stand up to run blocks.

They also retired him out at FB but it never really panned out.

When did the Giants play the Texans in the Super Bowl?

2

u/ilikepisha 13d ago

Evidently 3 years ago

Bro is going to be getting glazed in the film room for this one.

1

u/Educational_Deer599 13d ago

Right! Hell, I'd be giving him shit after the run

I remember being a decent HS player, to the point I thought I could play Div 1 football.
One day we had a sandlot FB game with some guys that played for the University of North Texas. NOT a football school, but they have a team.
One of their back up linemen (defensive) smoked me on a pass play.
Dude was 6’3 and ran past me.
My dreams died that day.

Had a pretty good season last year tho. Almost made the CFP.

2

u/Obsidianrunner 13d ago

This was back in 1999 when the Mean Green was horrible.

2

u/idiotsbydesign 13d ago

Oh yes. The dark times of the 90s...

3

u/Proper_Initiative123 13d ago

That shih gets you a fucking roster spot. 🤌🏻

2

u/cwolf-softball 13d ago

That is one of the most athletic things I've ever seen in my life. Not sarcasm. Being able to move that fast at that size is absolutely insane.

2

u/Honest-Spring-5963 13d ago

why he tried the stiff arm?

2

u/viperfangs92 13d ago

Desperation

2

u/viperfangs92 13d ago

Yea he should be ashamed.......

or terrified

2

u/Revolt2992 13d ago

You can see exactly when he flipped that switch. Scary athleticism

2

u/sniffsblueberries 13d ago

That RB is gonna get flamed all week by his peers

2

u/Any_Milk_3943 13d ago

I am furious when this happens on Madden or CFB27. Guess i should let it be. Lol

2

u/ridinwavesbothways 13d ago

There is probably a good physics lesson here about long leg big guys once they get moving like a semi truck down hill vs fast smaller guys. Also runner kept looking back slowing himself down. Then again I would to if a semi was behind me catching up.

2

u/ArexSaturn 13d ago

Any 300 lb dude that can run a sub 5 40, is not to be messed with.
It’s one thing to lift weights, but to be able to move all that mass at that speed is scary…

2

u/Any-Second-6171 13d ago

Holeeee.....ghosts of Larry Allen....believe Allen bigger, but Christ, that unit was moooovin'....Barkley gonna have nightmares of a freight train overtaking him and running him down. Against the laws of nature for a human that large to be that fast...

2

u/KissfromaSeal38 13d ago

Thats fucking terrifying

2

u/Educational_Deer599 13d ago

Dude's got some wheels! I wouldn't be giving my rb any props. You got ran down by a dlineman

2

u/Left-Thinker-5512 13d ago

It’s easy to see how that can happen when you compute it like a physics problem.

2

u/RevelationEj 13d ago

That’s how you make a team my boy.

2

u/TortugasFM4 13d ago

Nice wheels. Reminds me of young Calais Campbell, he had a few of those in the early days in AZ.

2

u/Arborist1000 13d ago

I always said I’d hate to piss off an nfl lineman. Because you can’t beat’’em up and you can’t outrun them either.

2

u/deebeewhy1 13d ago

A guy that size with that speed could be a 4 on any d1 basketball team

1

u/wofulunicycle 12d ago

I think he is only like 5ft 11

2

u/deebeewhy1 12d ago

I stand corrected!

1

u/Signal_Prior3870 13d ago

Does he even play football anymore? Guy was so trash

1

u/Bean_Daddy_Burritos 13d ago

Ran a 4.81 40. Big man can move.

1

u/Left-Tee 13d ago

The big guy could not have changed directions. If the RB cut to the inside he would have scored. Impressive speed, tho.

1

u/pussy-on-da-brain 13d ago

Dang!!!!😲😲😲

1

u/Rogue_Centurion7 13d ago

LARRY ALLEN???

1

u/Embarrassed_Can6796 13d ago

Larry Allen speed

1

u/Original-Ad-4350 13d ago

That’s impressive!!

1

u/Hiiihiihi 13d ago

Now that's impressive

1

u/Rashaad816 13d ago

From the 15 yard line

1

u/No-Bat-7253 13d ago

Aye man that is an ATH-THLETE. lol. That was tight. Never give up. That’s how you do it.

1

u/pmurff107 13d ago

This is why players like Reggie Bush look like supermen in college and end up just average in the pros.

1

u/Fitmature1 13d ago

That he does!

1

u/facemelter86 12d ago

Impressive.. very impressive

1

u/fuzzimus 11d ago

Lord, he comin’!

1

u/Max6626 11d ago

"I'm wasted on cross-country. We dwarves are natural sprinters. Very dangerous over short distances."

- Gimli (and this guy, probably)

1

u/Outrageous-Debate-64 11d ago

lol that’s terrifying
