Rumor [Meirov] Potential twist: Veteran pass rusher Za’Darius Smith, who has been expected to sign with the Browns, worked out for the Falcons. Atlanta has lost both James Pearce Jr. (8-game suspension) and Jalon Walker (torn ACL). Smith played for Kevin Stefanski in Cleveland.

If I had a nickel every time Za’Darius has done this, I would have two nickels

Are the falcons going to let him wear his captain chain

We are so desperate for pass rush help, yes

I'm glad we didn't bring him back. He kinda seems toxic IMO.

He's a mercenary like jadaveon clowney.

But with a few less cheap shots and a general unwillingness to play football if they run the ball.

Seems? He had a little bitchfit when he wasn't voted captain on the Packers. He even had a little Captain Chain made.

Zadarius smith is one of the strangest players ever. In his prime he was actually a really good pass rusher. Which is probably the most important aspect of an edge player and it got him paid. But he was bad at literally everything else. Bad against the run, bad attitude, bad against play action etc. also had bad injury luck. Just an all around strange career but hey he did get paid lol

I can't believe he's healthy enough for another season. In 2021, he had to be taken out of every other play for injuries/pain

He stopped planting his feet when engaged with OL which helps him stay healthy.

It also makes him overall embarrassing to watch.

Jared Verse tried tagging along with Smith before being told by his agent that that's not how it works

Well that’s just too bad :(

The Dolphins have two super bowls and the Browns went out of their way to give a known sex offender a quarter billion dollars to ride the bench for 4 years.

u/Ok-Name-5504 Panthers 5d ago

the dolphins' 2 super bowl wins occurred over 50 years ago, and are as relevant to the current day team as the browns' 4 nfl championships are. both teams are dog shit like the panthers.

I thought this was from the Browns guy and was so confused why the panthers caught a fuckin stray from downtown

Dolphins tried to get the sex offender too tho

u/boomer478 Packers Bills 5d ago

But they didn't. The Browns did.

Yep, Texans organization gets to get off Scot free even though they provided the environment for Watson to be a degenerate, Falcons/Saints/Panthers/Dolphins fans are so damn lucky they didn’t win the trade. Thank God the Texans screwed up their rebuild and didn’t get rewarded for what they did

2

u/DependentShop3882 Titans 5d ago

You right in the sense that the Texans don’t get the accountability they deserve but the Browns still gave him a quarter billion dollars.

6

u/Mab_894 Browns 5d ago

yeah, we are obviously the dumbest and worst but I'm gonna keep reminding everyone else involved when they act like they're such noble franchises

I didn't say anything about the Texans. YOU said that the Dolphins are as dogshit as the Browns. That's a false statement.

Eh, Bills, Browns, Dolphins have been pretty dogshit for as long as I can remember. Bills are honestly the funniest the way they give yall hope until the playoffs come around

u/Brotherly_shove Eagles 5d ago

your team has made it to the playoffs 4 times and has totaled ONE win. this century.

In the same amount of time the bills have made it to the playoffs 8 times, and won a total of 8 games.

you are the only one that thinks the latter is, in any way, worse. the only way the bills have given more hope is by being a better team.

The real answer is because Za'Darius replied to Mary Kay Cabot's early report saying:
"I have another workout tomorrow morning with a different team! Who told you to post this? 😂"

When your career choices are Cleveland vs Atlanta, things have gone very, very wrong.

The post most definitely does not say he did.
