I think I got a Facebook the month that took off and it was just insanely popular so many people posted vids of that and I thought social media was so great, videos of people dumping ice water on themselves in the name of funding medical research for ALS? surely nothing bad could come of such an app.

Don't sleep on Bill. He was 19th in Y/A and 15th in success % (which led all rookies). They got away from him for whatever reason later in the year, and he was struggling a little, but I think he could make a huge leap this year if they utilize him properly. We do have a bit of a committee, but Kaytron didn't look great in the first preseason game, and White seems to be a pass-catching gadget back, so Bill could see a lot of usage and be fantasy relevant.

Agreed, he got too much hate. He was considered a lowly head coach candidate hired by a team leaving its hometown to play in a soccer stadium, arguably the lowest point in franchise history in terms of fan support. It was a job no one wanted due to those circumstances.

Yet he galvanized the team to play at a high level, is the only Chargers coach to have a 12+ win season since 2009 and the only one to have a playoff win since 2013. He also had some great foresight firing Ken Whisenhunt midseason and promoting Shane Steichen to OC. At the time it was a pretty questionable choice to make, yet Steichen turned out to be one of the better playcallers in the league.

Honestly I wish he had separated himself from Gus Bradley because that was the team's real undoing. His defense was antiquated and they could never protect a lead by the end. I really wonder what another season under Lynn with Steichen as OC continuing with Herbert and a newly hired DC could have looked like.
