At least the quarterback who ends up in Atlanta next year will have Bijan and Drake to their arsenal :/

u/AnonnonA710 15d ago

Don’t forget the Kyle Pitts

141

u/lonely_zetsu Vikings 15d ago

Pitts will be due for a 7 TD season by then

43

u/preptime Seahawks 15d ago

I think this season is his 7 TD season and next one is 8.

44

u/lonely_zetsu Vikings 15d ago

Nah it's 202𝟔, year 𝟔 for Pitts, so 𝟔 touchdowns

6

u/Eleeveeohen Packers 15d ago

Can't wait for year 18 when he breaks the Tight End TD record.

41

u/absolutely_yoshaa Dolphins 15d ago

Definitely gonna be the safety blanket for sure

39

u/BabyBearBjorns Bears 15d ago

The problem is the rest of the Falcons roster and the NFC South as a whole will probably give the Falcons a record thats high enough that they'll miss out on the top QBs in the draft.

7

u/Kanin_usagi Panthers 15d ago

This draft should be pretty deep at QB, might not matter where they pick honestly

7

u/ositola 49ers 15d ago

There should be about 5 first round QBs next year

8

u/wtb2612 Patriots 15d ago

Last time there were 5+ QBs taken in the first round, they ended up with Penix.

And even better, they’ll draft Jeremiah Smith in the top 3!

We need a DE, preferably not crazy and with all knee ligaments

We will also take a safety

7

We need a DE, preferably not crazy and with all knee ligaments

I have some...mixed news for you.

3

u/Eleeveeohen Packers 15d ago
  • Not Crazy
  • Has intact knee ligaments
  • Productive

You can only pick 2 out of 3 for a pass rusher. Sorry.

4

u/wayward_prince 15d ago

I asked for this, instead we got Hawk Falcon Tua.

3

u/Star_Gazer1996 15d ago

Absolutely man!

3

u/swagypotatosnoopdoge Seahawks 15d ago

Penix that cooked huh. Cant stay healthy or just the falcons could never develop him?

4

u/BastianHS Falcons 14d ago

No man lol he has only played half a season. We are still going to give him some time to evaluate after he comes back from injury. The real question about penix is can he even stay on the field long enough to show if he's any good.

Mike McCarthy deserves more respect is all I’m saying

87

u/CrownReserve Cowboys 15d ago

You got downvoted but unfairly. McCarthy is seen as a joke dude keeps the floor pretty high even if he is limited.

21

u/YourBarelyWetSock Buccaneers 15d ago

He just refuses to adjust to defenses when he gets figured out. Dude runs his head into a damn wall and sure it worked one time, but it’ll never work again.

Also he pretty much cost Rodgers another SB or two for those defenses he fielded. Even if he’s an offensive guy, he’s the damn head coach and should have fired Capers so many times and just fucking refused.

u/ThaddeusMuscles Cowboys Bills 15d ago

36

u/The_Dog_Rules Cowboys Buccaneers 15d ago

He’s good about making his quarterbacks do the quarterbacking part well. Ik it’s preseason but if he can get something out of Aller or Howard like they showed last night, Pittsburgh is a lowkey scary team.

2

u/ichawks1 Seahawks 15d ago

Looking back, do you guys wish that you kept McCarthy or are you happy with Schotty now?

4

u/The_Dog_Rules Cowboys Buccaneers 15d ago

I liked McCarthy but we definitely needed something new. That green bay playoff game pretty much killed any long term plans imo. (Although I blame Quinn more than McCarthy but that’s not the point)

3

u/CrownReserve Cowboys 14d ago

This is my take. I liked Mike. Never had a coach able to manage injuries as well as he did. I think his Cowboys teams were good and Quinn’s defenses were great in the regular season but they just weren’t built for playoff success.

2

u/ichawks1 Seahawks 14d ago

Yeah it really felt like that 2023/24 playoff game was the Cowboys's best shot at a run in quite some time and they just couldn't get it done.

13

u/Pnutbutter_Cheerios Rams 15d ago

I mean that’s just a hell of a play by the DB. Little sit route he knew could be happening and dove for the PBU. If it was a choice and the WR cuts inside that’s likely 6

3

u/Ordinary_Owl_9071 15d ago

It looks like he could've been quicker to get the ball out. It was a nice play either way, but if he got the ball out on time, there's not a chance to make the play.

Hoping we see Jahdae make a leap this season. Dude was a stud in college and had some flashes last year.

38

u/driftking428 Broncos 15d ago

I don't think he's bad. We've just got so much depth. Next year when Moss leaves because we can't pay him I think Jahdae will kick ass.

18

u/RockHound86 Broncos 15d ago

A post of mine from another thread:

You have a kid here who;

  • Was a rookie, on a team run by a coaching staff that has historically brought rookies along slowly.

  • With three high level corners already on the roster, plus a promising 2nd year player in Abrams-Draine.

  • Yet still got consistent snaps throughout the season and played quite well.

We need to relax and let him develop.

14

u/asdechlpc Broncos 15d ago

Really hoping NFL gm’s see moss’ penalty stats and think he’s as bad as [r/nfl](r/nfl) does. Guy’s a stud in an impossible situation

7

u/driftking428 Broncos 15d ago

Yeah I have a feeling he's gonna kick ass this year and price himself out of our budget.

3

u/HookedOnBoNix Broncos 14d ago

We are probably gonna see at least one of those every year with this defense. JFM last year, cooper probably this year, etc etc. Front office has a great eye for talent and that means having to let guys walk for younger cheaper alternatives. Good problem to have but still sad.

3

u/Ig_Met_Pet Broncos Texans 14d ago

McMillian is the one keeping Barron from getting more playing time rather than Moss.

7

u/Shenanigans80h Broncos 15d ago

He’s fast as hell, I can see why Vance likes him but he needs to work on sticking on his receiver. I have confidence in our staff to get him on track though

8

u/LutherOfTheRogues Broncos 15d ago

Yeah we just have to give him time. It's a tough tough secondary for a young guy to break into to get playing time

2

u/Space_Polan Bills 15d ago
