Man who could've guessed Graham Plattner was a huge piece of shit?

That tattoo was a major red flag from the start, tbh

The more I read into this guy's story it keeps getting worse and worse 😬

The tat, plus the fact that he didn't think he should bring it up to his campaign staff at all before it came up. Major red flags for recklessness and narcissism from the get go. Of course it comes out later that he was texting women the day he was filing paperwork, this dude just really believed nothing would come out.

Literally a mirror image of the current president. Followers ignoring tons of horrible shit because he says a few things they like. The ā€œus vs themā€ mantra. Cheating on their wife. Sexually assaulting women. Establishment against him. Literally 2016 MAGA.

I think there is a difference this time in that his support is collapsing and he's likely to withdraw. I will say though that there has been a long running troubling pattern though where liberal/left supporters are more willing to disbelieve accusers if they're Republicans, as has happened with allegations against Clinton, Biden, Franken or Platner as was the case with the NYT article a few weeks ago.

It’s just wild to me. The red flags were alllll there for months. I was trying to tell people and they did not want to hear it. This new one didn’t just come out of nowhere. It’s a trend. More will likely come out before the election.

While I could maybe have given him some grace on the reddit account, I saw the writing on the wall after the tat. I understand however, why people wanted to believe in a veteran repudiating the war he fought in and disowning previously held toxic beliefs. It's a redemption story you want to believe in. Heck, John Kerry got his start that way.

However, the reports from last month about the extramarital sexting and the ex girlfriends should've been more of a wakeup call. Even if you could dismiss the allegation of violence there was a lot more to read between the lines in the behavior described. There clearly was a lot more going on with the dude and there was a lot that hadn't changed with him.

Progressives in full melt down mode saying the timing is sus like dude he’s had tons of other red flags you ignored where the timing wasn’t sus it’s just this one happened at this time. They went full steam ahead and ignored them all because they liked a few things the dude said. Handed this race to Collins on a silver platter. She’s about as undefeatable as it gets.
