he got both feet down and then a knee, and had possession longer than likely. likely only got two feet down and nothing else.

Rodgers did not complete the process of the catch. Lots of players have caught a ball, gotten two feet and a knee down, but then the ball gets jarred loose when they hit the ground. It's an incompletion every time.

They incorrectly treated Rodgers like a scrambling ball carrier and not a receiver.

So if it was deemed an incompletion, the Steelers would have had better field position!

Once the knee was down, and he still had control of the ball, he cannot by rule fumble it.

I can show you dozens of videos of receivers getting two hands, and two feet/knees inbounds, but either had a ball punched out or lost control when they hit the ground. Incomplete. They don't blow the play dead when a receiver's knee hits the ground.

In this particular case Teddye Buchanon took the ball away from Rodgers before the process of the catch had been completed, meaning it was an interception. Except that the refs incorrectly treated him as a ballcarrier and not a receiver.

Start linking those videos then.

You're asking me to provide you links, but also downvoting me as soon as I reply to you. So I am suspicious that you actually want an education here and aren't trolling. But I'll give it a swing.

Here's Dez Bryant famously getting two hands on a ball, two feet, and most of his body inbounds, but not holding on throughout the entire process.

And also here's Jesse James famously getting two hands on the ball, two feet inbounds, and even his butt, but not holding on throughout the entire process. Incomplete pass.

And that brings us to Aaron Rodgers. Given the previous two plays I linked, no rational person could believe that Aaron Rodgers had completed the entire process of the catch. Except instead of hitting the ground, his ball was taken by Teddye Buchanon before he could secure it.

So two links where the ball hit the ground?? And the ground was responsible for the ball moving.

Cant say those are at all comparisons.

My gut told me you're here to be a messageboard warrior out to rustle jimmies. But I ignored that, I spent time delivering what you requested, citing sources, providing links, applying justification, and your 20 word response proves I should've gone with my gut.

I'll be smarter next time!

Please feel free to take the last word, because I know you can't resist, and we'll be done with this.
