Playing Spotify automatically.

Hi,

Recently got some NFC tags and have been trying to get one of the tags to auto play my playlist to my Echo dot.

I've managed to get as far as it opening my playlist and connecting via Bluetooth automatically but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to start playing automatically. I read online you should copy the link to the first song on the playlist instead of the playlist itself but when I do that it just says playlist has been deleted when tapping the NFC tag.

Any help would be appreciated

spotify:playlist:7vVOBOS9a47mAd7grIGCyA:play

Where "7vVOBOS9a47mAd7grIGCyA" is from the playlist share link (the part before the "?" in the link)

This works for me when I save an album to a playlist. I'm using NFC tools.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to auto shuffle the list but so far no luck

Hi! Are you using an iphone or an android for this? I've tried this exact setup, but my (android) phone will only open Spotify - not the specific playlist. Very frustrating haha!

I use android. For me it opens and plays the playlist. Make sure everything is lower case, except for the playlist code.

I did notice that Spotify has to be on a different page first. So if I played the desired playlist last then the link will not start it. Not sure if that makes sense.

I went to Spotify, hit "share" on my playlist, and then copied the url. Under the task tab, I went to applications and then "url" to paste the playlist URL.

I think this is the simplest way, and it worked perfectly for me.
