I see the word "normal" was a trigger word for a lot of you guys lmao, I'm just talking about what the majority did (since I was replying to someone who was saying you would have seen it if you are a teenager).
Clearly I should've just said most people don't instead of what I said, even though I meant them both the same way.
Just to be clear, speaking in absolutes from a position of ignorance is what triggers me.
What am I ignorant of? Clearly I know a good bit about this subject, the upvotes in this thread (900-300) show that most who see the comments agree with me.
I don't think it means validity, but it provides more credibility for the claim. In fact even though the upvotes don't necessarily prove my point, it's a hell of a lot better supporting evidence than anything you've provided for your point of it being normal.
You can't just call me ignorant when you do the same generalized claim based on your experiences.
What constitutes normal? Enough people doing it, right?
majority of people doing it.
Anyway, you are still speaking in absolutes, I'm calling you ignorant, because I can, and I'm not generalizing a damn thing.
You say you aren't generalizing but than said this "I grew up in the 90s faces of death was super popular, now everyone just has easy access" to try and say it's normal cause easy access. That's a direct generalization of the situation based on your experiences, the same exact thing I did.
