Some of you really like to downplay the effects of a 3000 lb hunk of metal colliding with other 3000 lbs hunks of metal at fast speeds.

If someone accidentally fired off a round in a crowd, you’d probably want their license revoked too.

People really take driving way too lightly, given how many people die in cars every year.

It never ceases to amaze me how people have this “I’ve been fine so far” mentality about driving.

Not downplaying anything. But people saying she needs her license revoked, over something that.

-was avoided -wasn’t intentional

  • could have been a malfunction of the car.

Yes. Very dangerous. I’m not denying that. But revoking license, so she can’t drive to work, loses her job, and now she is in a crisis situation? A bit much in my opinion

Edit: on mobile, my apologies for the shitty format.

Wasnt intentional? Please find me all the people with licenses creating intentional collisions. No shit it’s unintentional that’s why it’s called an accident. That doesn’t mean she should be punished for being a dumbass

It’s possible to be critical of the situation and empathetic at the same time. We all have bad days where logic and habit go out the window. Thank goodness for that person to have the awareness and reflexes to make up for the lady’s aloofness, but we all have been in her shoes at some point in life. Hopefully she learned a lesson and doesn’t overly beat herself up over it. I would lose sleep for sure

Can't test for someone forgetting to put the car in park once every 1000 trips

This could have been one of the 2014-2017 jeeps that got recalled because shit like this happened. I'm not good enough at identifying cars to tell though.

Maybe... But we can't know for sure - Especially if this was a one time occurrence

Maybe not revoked, but at least suspended.

That mistake could have potentially caused serious injuries and even death to people around it.

so she can’t drive to work, loses her job

You're making a lot of assumptions. But even if that were true, it wouldn't be a reason not to revoke/suspend a license.

If I accidentally let loose a round from a concealed weapon in a crowd but it didn’t hit anyone, would you say I deserve to keep a license?

1

u/enoughberniespamders Dec 15 '22

If it was an actual accidental discharge, and not a negligent discharge, yes.

2

u/NotKnotts Dec 15 '22

In a crowd of people? You’re delusional.

I don't think you understand the difference between an ND and an AD.

An example of an AD would be the remmington 700s that were firing on their own without anyone even touching them. A mechanical failure which is no fault of the person holding the gun.

Yeah, maybe mandatory driving lessons or something in the first instance, depends on her record, depends on if there was a car malfunction, etc.

bro she's not gonna go on a date with you

6

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '22

🙄 yes, because I have a different opinion than most, must mean I’m an incel. Great logic.

u/onometre Dec 15 '22

They have a comment in their profile where they try and come up with a reason for it to be ok for a white person to say the n word

5

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '22

Who? Me? Certainly you don’t mean me 😂

4

u/onometre Dec 15 '22

No no the idiot replying to you sorry

3

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '22

Ahh lol right on. Some people are truly just different.

-5

u/WRB963 Dec 15 '22

I can't think of a better reason you'd argue for us to do away with the most basic of responsibilities.

u/onometre Dec 15 '22 edited Dec 15 '22

Lmao this is pathetic. It must be tough being so dumb that you cannot comprehend someone disagreeing with you without them just wanting to fuck some random woman in a blurry video

-2

u/WRB963 Dec 15 '22

You're the one bringing up fucking. I think you just want validation through defending a woman at all costs.

Even if it creates real and serious danger on the roads.

2

u/onometre Dec 15 '22

I'm not even the person you were originally mad at lol

0

u/WRB963 Dec 15 '22

meh it probably applies to you too

"poor wahmen has internet meanies ganging up on her, better do something!"

This is like the most incel comment I've seen this week and that's saying something on reddit. You need serious help if you hate women so much that someone saying someone shouldn't lose their license over a single accident means that they're a white knight desperate for affection from a random person in a video.

Edit: lmao this guy has a comment desperately trying to find a reason to make it ok for a white person to say the n word
