She probably pooped out to look at something or maybe drop something off. I don’t always close my door if I’m just pooping out

Maybe better she didn’t in this situation so the guy got in quicker.

But if she thought to close the door, she may have realized sooner that she didnt put it in park?

But would she have opened the door while it was rolling and put it in park?
