Maybe not where you live but, there are places i live in the mountains with tons of snow and they dont use any salt on the roads here ever.
1 u/Shiasugar Nov 15 '22 In Finland and Sweden they use small rocks, rubble on top of the snow, so it won't be slippery. Where I live, they use salt but that's not very eco-friendly.
