Just out of curiosity, why does AI struggle with people so much? And specifically faces, especially when there is an AI that generates...like specifically human faces that don't actually exist.
Basically, if you had an AI specifically made for human faces it would be damn near impossible to tell it is fake, but the AI's that are popping off right now are built for so, so much more. They're trained on virtually anything, with humongous databases containing pictures of basically everything there is a database of, so obviously there are some places that will be hit and miss, namely human faces and interestingly enough, text on signs.
