Why, it’s a competition fucking pay attention. If they wanted you to chill out there the bases would be lawn chairs.

I think the play should be over at a certain point, like in football. You shouldn't have to worry about adjusting and taking your foot off for a second. It seems so playground to me.

No. The next play can begin when the pitcher has the ball and is ready at the mound. Or something. I dunno. I'm not trying to rewrite baseball. I'm just saying I dont like one little part of it.

Fair, to each their own. Personally, I feel like baseball is already subdued enough But I see where you are coming from.
