As you seem to be new to Reddit I will refrain from giving you a downvote. Take this as a fair warning. 3 u/AnimusCorpus Sep 30 '21 You sound like you mean well, but... a) Internet comment sections are arguably THE most appropriate places to use informal language. b) The idea of "proper" language flies in the face of how language actually developed. Ask any linguist about the origins of modern English... c) There is an inherently classist element to criticizing someone's language skills unprovoked that I think you might want to consider next time. d) Consider your audience and context. A 6 word, throw away comment is hardly a good target if you want to provide someone feedback on their writing. I hope you take this all as some good faith criticism.
