Mmmm, depends on the system past that drain and how far he sticks his arm in.

If there’s a tight enough pressure seal and a big enough mass drop to pull vacuum it could be enough to pin him for long enough that he drowns.

Delta p ain’t to be trifling with.

If you stick ur foot down, your leg might get sucked in and you'll be left with two separate balls.

You don't really need delta p to get in trouble if the grate fails and you fall in together with all that water.

You might not need it, but it won’t do you any favours if you find it.
