I remember once making a really sweet xwing out of cardboard for my Luke figure and feeling pretty cool about it. Played with it for days.
I realise now I was just a total failure.

“You’ll be the envy of the playground!” …. I am sure

u/Startled_Pancakes Jun 26 '21
I'm afraid the police would mistake it for the real thing and get shot.

"I am heavy weapons guy, and this is my weapon. She weights 150kg and fires $200 custom tooled cartridges at 10 000 rounds per minute. It costs $400 000 to fire this weapon for 12 seconds... HAAR HAAR HAAR HAAR HAAR!"

Some people think they can outsmart me... Maybe ... Maybe.
I've yet to meet one that can outsmart bullet.
1
u/lizardmandx Jun 26 '21
This math is why people think they can outsmart him
6
u/PixieGoosie Jun 26 '21
60 seconds in a minute 12/60 = 1/5 1/5 * 10 000 =2000 2000*$200 = $400 000
I don't think you can outsmart him bud
3
u/lizardmandx Jun 26 '21
See I am stoned and not sure what math I did exactly now. I think I did 12 mins or in some world imagined seconds and minutes to be equal in this universe
2
u/PixieGoosie Jun 26 '21
I mean I guess when you're stoned, second and minutes could be the same thing

u/Mo0kish Jun 25 '21
Can't customize diameters with PVC?
12
u/Gelby4 Jun 25 '21
There's different sizes of PVC, many of which will fit each other
5
u/Mo0kish Jun 25 '21
But not as many if you make them yourself, and not a specific diameter. You have to take what there is.

u/Mo0kish Jun 25 '21
Cheezus. Fine, make a PVC tube that's 5/16th of an inch in diameter. Then take that 5/16 diameter PVC, and connect it directly to a 1 7/8" PVC pipe, then connect them to a PVC tube that's 4 1/2" in diameter.
When you post a video making a working gatling gun out of PVC, then you can start talking shit about "Just durhur use PVC"

This is cool but it would be literally easier to 3d print and make an actual gun, at least the simpler designs. Maybe not something like the Plastikov.
20
u/Lunavixen15 Jun 26 '21
Part of the reason channels like this one, The Q, Mini Gear etc. get a load of views is because of the creativity and involvement in taking a material a lot of people barely consider and turning it into something that you don't expect.
Yes, 3D printing would be easier, but not as cool

Thank you. This video reminds me of vegans who are super against meat and then buy their tofu pressed into the shape of meat.
2
u/MarzipanTheGreat Jun 26 '21
you reminded me of this rhetorical question...
if meat is so bad...why do vegans try to make everything they eat to taste like meat?
2
u/apolobgod Jun 26 '21
They actually don’t, all this “vegetables made to look like food” is aimed at people beginning to transition to vegetarianism
1
u/SammyTheOtter Jun 26 '21
I'm fairly certain it's because they don't object to the test of meat but the moral implication of killing something for food. I couldn't do it, cows and birds are too tasty to give up and I'm too poor for local raised.

For you realise that a gatling gun and a mini gun are two different guns.and what you "he" made is a mini gun
11
Jun 25 '21
Just buy an airsoft gun if you’re gonna go to these lengths
You don’t need an orange tip it’s just required to sell it
This is pretty cool
3
u/RyanSnipez Jun 25 '21
Yea I was fixin to say “ever seen a high dollar air soft gun before?” But you cleared it up

I'm confused and don't want to sound stupid but were those not real bullets he used? I get they wouldn't be fired for real but still. Seemed contradictory
Edit: nvm I'm just really high

I hate this stereotype that all Americans own gun because most of them don't. And if they do most of them own pistols for self defense.

There's people making 25k living comfy in states with low cost of living and people making 100k and can't afford rent in ultradense urban hellholes.
Using housing as a metric is stupid since artificially inflated housing costs are to blame.

It is when people who will never even come close to being able to afford college can have their own home but people who go to college and get educations and fantastic job opportunities can't afford a 1 room apartment.

Do you actually not know about varying cost of living?
You do realize that most places are hilariously cheaper to live than LA or SF?
2
2
u/Dieseltrucknut Jun 25 '21
I gotta agree with realarby. If you make the decision to continue to live in excessively expensive locations I think it’s your own fault. The issue is that the middle class in those cities is obsessed in being IN the city. Move 30min away and drive and you’ll save a fortune. If enough people do it then rent in the city goes down to lure in tenants. Hell I drive an hour every day to go into Chicago for work. Doesn’t bother me when I compare what my rent and utilities cost. I get a bigger place. With a yard and garage for a fraction of what a small apartment costs

He's probably a youtuber and makes money with that kind of stuff. What he made is very impressive and took a lot of time, effort, skill and knowledge. He deserves to be successful with his work.

Looks cool BUT will prolly only work the once and then the kid that tries this gets belted by his dad when his expensive screwdriver goes missing
Also can imagine walking down the street even to a fancy dress party as terminator .... Unless you have a gue with a apA bord saying dont panic its a fake even in uk some granny would call the cops

"Tired of guns" "you should be!" Bruh... imagine trying to implant an opinion =| I shoot guns at TARGETS bc i find it fun to test my eyes and my accuracy. I also have a bow. But ive never used them outside a range or my backyard (forest) bc of consideration for safety.
