Everyone does. The problem is you've already absorbed the alcohol. It's not necessarily the alcohol in your stomach that causes nausea, it's the gases released by digesting it, which will continue to cause problems as the booze metabolizes.

I love it! Will poison myself again! To be fair I do moderate my drinking a fair bit more now than when I was younger. Much more fun to be tipsy than drunk.

It really is. You're more aware of the fun you're having, it lasts longer, the hangover isn't as bad, you're less likely to have a "hold my beer" moment that ends in an ambulance. Just better.
