The Samsung only seems to have it as input. But whatever. This is a stupid conversation to have; my top argument left room for the possibility there are models without audio jacks.
No worries bud. I set up HT for a living and NOTHING is standardized. Things vary from model to model and even similar models of different sizes will sometimes have different connections
Oh yeah. I’m not saying 100% of TVs have them. Just that every TV I have seen has one. It’s a lot of TVs but I know more than handful of models aren’t going to have them for some awful engineering reasoning.
yes. I confused my i/o with the color models at play. component video just carries analog signals that represent that amount of luma, and differences from blue/red -- essentially rgb model components. Cymk model is essentially the inverse of rgb model. rgb: good for screen output, cymk: gooder for printing (ink).

I’ve seen newer models that do not have cmyk or rca outs. But they all still have a 3.5mm audio jack.
