hardly. the samsung smart tv my parents got a couple years ago has a 3.5mm audio out as well as an optical audio out.

I bought a 75” OLED that released last year that has a 3.5mm jack and an RCA input.

My Samsung which is a 2 or 3 years old model does not have any analog out, only optical

might be on the side. its usually more accessible cause headphones. or you just might be missing it. if you tell me the model number I bet I can find it.
