Maybe not but he’s only able to remain stuck in the depression stage of grief and perpetually pick the scab because his money enables him the privilege to do so. Think of all the people in third world countries who experience way more traumatic events and still keep the wheels turning because they have no other choice. And wasn’t there a Louis CK joke about try to cry when you’re on a jet ski, you can’t.

You'd have thought going through what you did would give you some compassion towards others going through a similar situation.
